Heather Hilliard has over 20 years working with leaders and teams in organizations going through growth and transition. She is recognized for her exceptional ability to ask the right questions, quickly understand what is required to support performance and move the team to action planning. She is a powerful facilitator and consultant who instinctively knows what is needed to engage a team to overcome barriers, address dysfunctions and take their performance to the next level. Ultimate Experience – Team Development Add-On
Enhance your team’s performance and the return on your investment in the team activities with the inclusion of a facilitated team development session. Working with a specialized team facilitator, this provides your team with the opportunity to connect the activities to business needs and/or current team challenges, and provides a roadmap for the team to enhance its performance based on its experience.
The team development facilitation includes:
- Pre-event meeting with the team’s leader to discuss team challenges, business needs as well as objectives for the team event;
- Facilitated team discussion prior to the team activities, to further engage the team in leveraging the experience to support improvements in team performance;
- Observation of team dynamics during the team activities;
- Facilitated debrief following the activities including identification of action plans to enhance team effectiveness based on learning’s;
- Post-event meeting with team leader to discuss strategies for following through on the team’s development.

Team Energizer Development package
Intended for teams looking for insight into team behaviours and wanting to create a roadmap for evolving their effectiveness, this 4-month process includes:
- Diagnostic of team’s current state / dynamics and desired state / needs
- Assessment of leadership styles, based on the Striving Styles Personality System™ (other assessments also available) including individual interpretation sessions
- Facilitation of 2-day meeting to build awareness of team style, work through barriers to performance and create plans for moving forward (actual agenda based on diagnostic; includes team activities)
- Monthly follow up meetings to track progress and provide support to the leader (option: individual coaching is also available)
- Facilitation of 1-day meeting to measure progress made, determine next steps and address any outstanding factors limiting performance (actual agenda based on needs of team)

Strategy Development Facilitation
Intended for team’s looking to increase the effectiveness of their strategy planning sessions, and ensure meaningful dialogue and debate happens whether defining longer-term strategies or short-term tactics. Also, beneficial for group’s looking to increase accountability through improved planning and definition of performance metrics. This process includes:
- Gathering of information about the business including past/current plans, internal and external factors affecting performance, organizational structure and current business needs / challenges
- Facilitation of 2-day meeting to build a strategic plan for the business including analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; stakeholder needs analysis; talent risk analysis; identification of barriers and potential strategies; determination of short-term tactics and 90-day action plan (actual agenda based on diagnostic; includes team activities)
- Development of strategic or annual plan based on meeting input (documentation preparation)
- Review of strategic / annual plan with key stakeholders and revisions as necessary
